Kalbar will be holding community information sessions about the proposed Fingerboards Mineral Sands Project on 28 and 29 November 2016. Interested community members will be able to hear the latest available information about the project and ask questions.
These sessions will be structured so you can drop in at a convenient time in the afternoon, talk to Kalbar representatives and ask any questions about the project, and/or attend an information presentation and question and answer session in the evening.

The presentation sessions are expected to conclude at 9pm.
What information will be presented?
We will provide information about:
- mineral sands and their uses
- the location and scale of the project as it is currently defined
- the proposed mining process
- the approvals process and Environment Effects Statement requirements
- Community consultation processes
We will endeavour to answer any questions about the project where we have the relevant information.
Some aspects about the project are yet to be finalised and may change depending on further investigations or outcomes of the approvals process.
If the information is not currently available, or is yet to be decided, we will tell you and undertake to provide the information when it is available.
